An unknown dialogue of the 16th century: <em>Diálogo de Temeroso</em>. Study and edition

Abstract

The Diálogo de Temeroso is an unknown text, written in the second half of the sixteenth century, whose author could be Francisco de Hermosilla. In the debate between two symbolic characters, Afronio and Sofisto, courtly Love is contrasted with the Ovidian doctrine. This paper studies and edits the work.
