This article explores the varieties of honor in the theater of the Golden Age, showing that the treatment of the subject depends mostly on dramatic genres. This topic should be examined from dramatic perspectives not only ideological. Thereby reveals a series of ethics of honor, from the tragic to the farcical mode, through the religious moralizing in hagiographic comedy and sacramental plays.
