Abstract

This article supposes the anotated edition of an unpublished traslation in regarding to Vergil’s Ecloga VII, whose author seems to be the Spanish humanist Pedro Juan Núñez, as magister at Barcelona University. However, such translation has been only found in a manuscript (among another materials discentes, like the Scholia or commentary about Vergilian Ecloga), which is a copy from one of his students, when he was perhaps receiving the lessons of the humanist. In other hand, such Spanish traslation offers peculiar features, which have been studied in our paper, in order to stablish the paleographic and ortographic criteria of our edition, but also with the purpose to make attention about the dual singularity of the translated text.
