REPORTAGE AND LEXICOLOGY: AGUSTÍN GONZÁLEZ DE AMEZÚA AND HIS JOURNALISM

Abstract

Virtually unknown, Agustín González de Amezúa’s journalism represents a body of reportage that provides a detailed account of the personality of a Golden Age enthusiast whose books and articles reveal his vast knowledge and capacity for work. Amezúa wrote almost a hundred articles for newspapers like ABC and La Vanguardia in the final years of his life. In anticipation of the edition that will contain these writings, in this article I bring together those that he devoted to certain lexicological matters which were of his concern and interest as an academic.
